Long form fiction writer and professional teacher, George Koors dedicates his life to the exchange of ideas and the pursuit of knowledge. His first published novel, Always the Wanderer, interrogates the idea of contemporary imperialism through the interwoven narratives of three primary characters. His insights, like the ones his characters observe in his novels, are derived from a myriad of life experiences, including his life in Germany and Saudi Arabia, and coming out as bi. Currently residing in Washington, DC, George works to support fellow writers and readers through book talks and writing groups. His literary influences include James Joyce, Carlos Fuentes, Assia Djebar, and Vassily Grossman.
