Long form fiction writer and professional librarian, George Koors dedicates his life to the exchange of ideas and the pursuit of knowledge. His first published novel, Always the Wanderer, interrogates the idea of contemporary imperialism through the interwoven narratives of three primary characters. His insights, like the ones his characters observe in his novels, are derived from a myriad of life experiences, including his life in Germany and the Middle East, and coming out as bi. Currently residing in Washington, DC, George works to support fellow writers and readers through book talks and writing groups. His literary influences include James Joyce, Roberto Bolaño, Assia Djebar, and Vassily Grossman.

His next novel, Sing Lazarus, will be released by Anxiety Press in June of 2025.
